GLENVILLE, WV – The Glenville State University (GSU) Department of Business has announced its list of Distinguished Business Students for 2022. Recognition of these top business students is based on multiple criteria including academic achievement, class rank, campus involvement, and leadership in department classes and programs. Additionally, some students are recognized for specific departmental awards.
Those recognized as Distinguished Business Students included: Tiffany Cole of Glenville, West Virginia; Seth Fallon of Parkersburg, West Virginia; Aline Fevrier of Brest, France; Chloe Griffith of Madison, West Virginia; Robert Pence of Raceland, Kentucky; Ian Pomeroy of Beckley, West Virginia; and Alyssa Woods of Drennen, West Virginia.
Specific award recipients included:
- Ernest H. Smith Award Recipient – Joseph Rubalcaba of Catonsville, Maryland
- Outstanding Senior Students – Vendela Danielsson of Stockholm, Sweden and Sabrina Gonzalez of Glenville, West Virginia
- Outstanding Junior Students – Avery Book of Columbus, Ohio and Jaycie Johnson of Glenville, West Virginia
- Outstanding Sophomore Students – Avalon Green of Salt Lake City, Utah and Hunter Lemon of Glenville, West Virginia
- Outstanding Freshmen Students – Grant Krajeski of Maysel, West Virginia and Jacob Mattox of Ravenswood, West Virginia
- Outstanding Accounting Student – Ellis Lilly of Crab Orchard, West Virginia
- Outstanding Computer and Information Systems Student – Timothy Roy of Normantown, West Virginia
