Christmas Craft Show celebrates 36 years

Originally held in Upshur County, the 36th Annual Christmas Craft Show relocated to the Randolph County Armory off Route 33 three years ago.

The armory will be transformed into one of the largest holiday shows in central West Virginia as the Christmas Craft Show celebrates 36 years of bringing a wonderful shopping experience to the area. Christmas music and the aroma of Campbell’s Kettle Corn will fill the air as holiday shoppers are charmed by the assortment of unique  hand-crafted items available for purchase.

The entrance, at 201 Caisson Drive in Belington, will be well marked and volunteer firemen on site to ensure smooth traffic flow & parking availability.

Started in a church fellowship hall with 20 crafters, the show has evolved into the Annual Christmas Craft Show, highlighting the personal flair of artisans from all over West Virginia, Virginia ,Maryland & Florida. Coordinators Pamela Wilson and LaVonne Stump jury and select each artisan for the show, ensuring the quality of all items each hand crafted individually for you.

Some of the specialty items for sale include wooden utensils, metal art work, birdhouses, leather items, baskets, folk art, pottery,e wooden cutting boards, jewelry, hand scrolled wooden items, hand engraved glass, , Christmas ornaments, wreaths, soaps, lotions, dolls, blacksmith art, and many more unique items. Several outstanding artisans, including Sandy Conrad, Richard Ware, Tammy King, Robin Oldaker, Denise Heckel, Bob Taylor, and many more familiar faces are slated to return along with several new skilled artisans.

The Christmas Craft Show’s holiday shopping hours are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 24, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 25, noon – 4 p.m.  Admission is free but donations of non-perishable food items, personal items or cleaning supplies for Crosslines food pantry would be appreciated.
