Robert Warren “Robby” Sargent, 37, of French Creek, died Monday, May 17, 2021, at his home.
He was born on November 9, 1983, in Millville, New Jersey, a son of the late Sandra Jane Neaves. He is survived by his grandparents with whom he resided, Warren and Betty Sargent; one “sisser” Dawn Marie Sargent of Fairmont; a best friend Mikey Tenney; and several aunts, uncles, and other family members who loved him very much.
Robby had previously been employed as a dispatcher for the New Jersey Turnpike, and was a member of the POMC, the Upshur County Democrat Executive Committee, LGBT, and the IFPTE Local 194. He attended the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and the Point Pleasant Chapel.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 22, 2021, from 10-11 a.m., at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Wilma Jackson and Pastor Will Kerns officiating.
