BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — The Mountain East Conference announced on Wednesday, Sept. 8 that Saturday’s (Sept. 11) UNC Pembroke at West Virginia Wesleyan football game has been canceled. 

The game was canceled after it was determined in the best interest of the WVWC football team to not play because of the number of student-athletes in COVID-19 quarantine and isolation.

The game will not be rescheduled.
