American Legion Post 7 will hold its monthly meeting on Saturday, February 1, at the Post Home, 16 S Kanawha St, Buckhannon.
The annual 4 Chaplains Ceremony, honoring four military chaplains who gave their life jackets to others when the Dorchester was torpedoed in the North Atlantic during World War II, will take place during the meeting.
All veterans and their spouses are invited to attend. A free lunch, with donations appreciated, will be served at noon. The ceremony and meeting will begin at 1 p.m.
