BUCKHANNON — Buckhannon River Paddlers has announced a community meet-up set for Saturday, July 6. Paddlers are invited to join at the Hall Road Access Site at 10:30 a.m. for an out-and-back paddle.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own boats and paddling gear. Those in need of rentals can contact Trubie Run Outfitters for options. The event aims to allow attendees to make new friends and explore a new section of the river.
The Hall Road Access Site is located north of Buckhannon. To reach the site, exit Highway 33/48 south onto Fifth Street, roughly 0.8 miles east of Buckhannon. Turn immediately left onto Morton Avenue and continue for approximately 4 miles until the destination is on your right. The site is marked with a large brown sign.
