Elkins, W.Va.—Davis Health System Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of three new board members, Patricia Mayes, Whitney Phillips-Morris, and Judy Schoonover-Ritchie.
“The Davis Health System Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of a dedicated team of community leaders committed to providing quality healthcare services that are available to everyone, no matter their financial status,” said DHS Foundation Executive Director, Mike Bell. “We are excited to channel Patricia, Whitney, and Judy’s talent, community commitment, and energy into furthering our mission.”
Patricia Mayes is a past president of the Emma Scott Garden Club and championed the creation of the Davis Medical Center Serenity Garden. Patricia is also an active member of St. Brendan Catholic Church where she serves on the Pastoral Council and Liturgy Committees. She and her husband Dave Cutlip have served as hosts for the Foundation’s annual Kentucky Derby event. Dave is active with the Davis and Elkins College Board of Trustees and the Elkins Main Street Board of Directors.
Whitney Phillips-Morris is a Senior Staff Accountant with Carte Hall Professionals, LLC. Whitney is a member of the Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce and active with the Chamber’s Vibrant Community Early Childhood Brain Development Task Force. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Tygart Valley United Way. Whitney is married to Robbie Morris, Executive Director of the RCDA and Mountain State Forest Festival Director General.
Judy Schoonover-Ritchie served on the DHS Foundation campaign cabinet for the Davis House. She is an active community leader who serves on the Randolph County Housing Authority Board of Commissioners and is active in many local philanthropy projects including having chaired the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. She currently serves as General Manager at Clayton Homes of Elkins and resides on Chenoweth Creek with her husband Tom.
The other members of the 2022 DHS Foundation Board of Directors are President Michael Cvechko, Vice-President Hugh Hitchcock, Secretary Jeffrey S. Zurbuch, Treasurer Christy Tribble, Cindee Campbell, Sterl Dean, Melanie Dempsey, Bob Dunkerley, Penny Graham, Dr. Misha Phillips-Lee, and Dianna Vannoy.
