TENNERTON – Hank Ellis Insurance has taken the lead in the third quarter standings of the Buckhannon Country Club Men’s Golf League standings.
This week, Hank Ellis Insurance defeated Custom Cabinets by a 22 ½-17 ½ score to overtake First Community Bank for the top spot with 44 ½ points.
First Community Bank lost a 21-19 decision to Highland Landscaping to fall into second place with 41 ½ points. Highland Landscaping moved from sixth place to fourth place with 40 points.
Sam’s Pizza remained in third place this week after earning a 20-20 tie with High Point Construction with 41 points.
In the other match of the week, Feola’s Flowers downed Lisa Cain Edward Jones by a 20 ½-19 ½ score.
Stephen Jeran of High Point Construction won Low Actual honors with a 34 while Hunter McDaniels of High Point Construction brought home Low Net honors with a 30.
