West Virginia Wesleyan College Associate Professor Tommy Schoffler spent the holiday season on stage himself for Greenbrier Valley Theatre’s production of “A Christmas Carol.” Schoffler chairs the WVWC Department of Theatre and Dance and was announced as Dean of the West Virginia Governor’s School for the Arts for Summer 2024.

In December, the Rotary Club of Buckhannon-Upshur awarded a matching challenge grant to the Upshur Parish House earmarked for Crosslines in support of Upshur County residents needing assistance with utilities and rent. The grant will match up to $5,000 in contributions from individuals, businesses, civic organizations and churches.
