Jackie Lee Petrosh, age 82, of French Creek, WV, died Thursday, December 12, 2024, at his home.
He was born August 14, 1942, in Fort Smith, AR, a son of the late Robert and Dorothy Petrosh. On January 20, 1972, he married Dorothy M. Norcross who survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Brian Petrosh of TN and Gregory Petrosh of Antioch, TN; two daughters, Tammy Smith of Buckhannon, WV and Lisa Johnson of New Jersey, NJ; three siblings, Robert Petrosh of NJ, Patricia Desacino and Ronald Petrosh of California City, CA; one special grandson, Robert Heckman, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO; numerous grandchildren; two great-granddaughters, Savannah McCartney of French Creek and Laurel Conway of Buckhannon, one great-grandson, Mason Conway of Buckhannon and numerous great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sons, Harry Heckman, Douglas Petrosh and Robert Heckman, and one granddaughter, Dottie Jordan. Mr. Petrosh was a member of the Masonry Local #33 Masons Union and the Local #33 and #5 in New Jersey Free Masons.
Friends will be received Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with Pastor J. Edward McDaniels officiating. In honoring Mr. Petrosh’s wishes, he will be cremated following services, with inurnment in the Alton Cemetery in Alton, WV at a later date.
