Weston, W.Va. – Dr. John A. Battin, Urologist, will begin seeing patients at Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital beginning in July. Dr. Battin and Megan McKown, Physician Assistant, will be located at the Stonewall Urology office on the ground floor of the Hospital.
“We understand the importance of offering Urological care in rural WV and are happy to continue offering this service at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital,” said Dr. Battin.
The office will provide services for enlarged prostate, prostate cancer, kidney stones, kidney cancer, overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, and vasectomy services.
Dr. Battin also currently practices at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown. He received his medical degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and did his residency at West Virginia University School of Medicine. He is board certified in urology and was named a top regional doctor in 2014. He has been in practice for more than 20 years.
McKown graduated from the Marietta College Physician Assistant Program in June 2019 and has been practicing with Dr. Battin since October 2019.
