Linda Kay Rowan

Linda Kay Rowan, age 66, of Richmond, Va., gained her wings on April 6, 2025, at the Beaufont Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on January 3, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of the late Donald and Elinor Caudy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Melissa Wimer.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Keith Rowan, sons Keith Rowan II and wife Lily Rowan of San Jose, Ca., Andy Rowan of Richmond, Va., and daughter Jenna Rowan and wife Kiley Rowan of Richmond, Va., two granddaughters, Dre Rowan and Zain Rowan of Virginia, and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are one sister, Lisa Greenwood and husband Dean Greenwood of Lithopolis, Ohio, and one brother, Donald Caudy of Columbus, Ohio.

Linda worked at fast food restaurants until she became disabled, at which time she stayed at home and cared for her family. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, flowers, sports and reading. Linda will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Linda’s request to be cremated was honored by Affinity Funeral Service in Richmond, Va. The family will hold a private ceremony in Richmond, where she spent her later years with her grandchildren.
