WESTON, WV – Melissa Rogers, of Imaging, has been selected as the Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital ICARE Employee of the Month for November 2022. She began her employment at the hospital in 2002.

Nominations for the monthly honor are based on the Mon Health System Values, ICARE, which stands for Integrity, Commitment, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.

“Melissa is a very dependable employee who works a lot of extra shifts for the department. She is willing to jump in when coverage is needed and is a real team player,” Melissa’s nominator wrote. “Most recently, she spent time working on the annual breast cancer awareness activities in October. Melissa takes great pride in her work, and she treats patients the way she would want her family treated – with care and compassion.”

“I have appreciated my work here with a great group of coworkers and the sweet patients we have,” Melissa said. “In my 20 years, it has been fascinating to see how we have progressed from film, to digital, to 3D imaging.”

Melissa is a Lost Creek resident and graduate of the WVU School of Radiologic Technology. Her and her husband, Steve, share two sons.
