Rocky Wayne White

Rocky Wayne White passed away on April 23, 2025, at the Genesis Healthcare Salem Center in Salem, WV. He was born on December 27, 1962, in Buckhannon, WV.

He is the youngest son of Mary Lucille Brady and the late Virgil Blaine White. In addition to his mother, Rocky is survived by one daughter, Lindsay (Daniel) Wagner of Pennsylvania; one son, Coleton of Montana; one grandson, Greyson Flores; two step-grandchildren, Landan and Mayliyah Wagner; two brothers, Virgil ‘Rusty’ White and Rick (Anita) White; two nephews, Dillon White and Ethan (Carolyn) White as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceding him in death was his father, Virgil Blaine White, as well as his stepfather, John Daniel Tenney.

Rocky was an experienced oil & gas field driller who drilled in many states including Texas and Utah. Those who knew him well will no doubt remember him for his laughter. He was a gifted guitarist.

The family wishes to express appreciation to WVU Hospice and Salem Genesis Healthcare for the care and friendship they provided him.

In honoring his wishes, Rocky will be cremated. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
