Rotary Club of B-U donates to residents at Holbrooks on the Hill nursing care facility

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — The Rotary Club of Buckhannon-Upshur recently presented donations to Holbrooks on the Hill Nursing Care Facility. 

They delivered 110 holiday cards, one for each resident, signed by Rotarians.  They also donated items to be used as bingo prizes for the residents including caps, soft drinks, popcorn, puzzle books, pens, personal hygiene items and socks. The donation effort was led by program coordinators Sandy LaRosa and Kelley Tierney in an effort to bring the spirit of Christmas to the residents.

The Rotary Club of Buckhannon-Upshur meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month with a presentation at each meeting.  Currently, they are meeting virtually.  They are committed to providing service to others, promoting integrity and advancing goodwill and peace.
