Shannon Faye Wagoner

Shannon Faye Wagoner, age 53, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born December 23, 1971, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Larry and Shirley Westfall Landis. On March 31, 1995, she married Charles Wagoner of Buckhannon who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Larry Ruben Wagoner and Dewaine Wagoner and fiancé Mackenzie Wagner all of Buckhannon; two brothers, Ben Landis and wife Amanda and Joe Landis all of Buckhannon; two sisters, Effie Tenney and husband Doyle and Ivy Landis and fiancé Jeremey Phillips all of Buckhannon; sister-in-law, Rickie Landis of Buckhannon; several nieces & nephews and her pig, Miss Piggy and beloved dog, Lulu. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Shaun Landis.

Mrs. Wagoner was a homemaker and a Christian by faith. She loved fishing and spending time with her family.

Friends will be received Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with Rev. Terry Gower officiating. Burial will follow in the Cutright Chapel Cemetery in Queens, WV.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
