BUCKHANNON — The Concord University Mountain Lions outshot West Virginia Wesleyan 22-10 enroute to a dominant performance in a 4-1 victory at Culpepper Stadium in Buckhannon, Sunday.
It would take the Bobcats 78 minutes to find the back of the net when Ellie Pergolotti took a pass from Hannah Dietrich and pushed it past Concord keeper Maddie Loughborough to the left corner.
Concord’s four goals included one each by Jessica Neville and Holly Gray, and two by Tiana Campbell (assists to Gray and Leah Fleming).
Wesleyan returns to action on the road Wednesday, Sept. 18 against University of Charleston. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
