St. Joseph’s Hospital to hold ribbon cutting for Ophthalmology Clinic on Tuesday, Oct. 8

Buckhannon, W.Va. – A ribbon cutting will be held for the St. Joseph’s Hospital Ophthalmology Clinic on Tuesday, October 8 at 4 p.m. The clinic is staffed by physicians from the WVU Eye Institute who will be performing cataract surgeries and providing retinal injections.  

Allison Bardes, MD;  Lingo Lai, MD;  Thomas Mauger, MD;  and Lee A. Wiley, MD, will be performing cataract surgeries at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Carol Laxson, MD is the Medical Retinal Specialist.  

The ribbon cutting will be held at the clinic located on the first floor of St. Joseph’s Physician Office Center at 94 West Main Street.  Patients wanting to see a physician in the clinic must first contact their optometrist for a referral.
