St. Joseph’s Ophthalmology Clinic holds ribbon cutting at new location

Buckhannon, W.Va. — St. Joseph’s Ophthalmology Clinic held a ribbon cutting at its new location next to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. The clinic provides retinal and cataract care with cataract surgeries performed at St. Joseph’s Hospital. 

The clinic is staffed by the nationally recognized physicians of the WVU Eye Institute. Annahita Amireskandari, MD; Lingo Lai, MD; Thomas Mauger, MD; Brian McMillan, MD and Lee Wiley, MD provide care for those with cataracts. Carol Laxson, MD provides retinal care for conditions including diabetic macular edema, wet age-related macular degeneration and retinal vein occlusion.
