The 2 Sides debut with “Bittersweet” – a soulful blend of country, nostalgia and change

The 2 Sides, a rising duo from Mon Hills Records, released their debut single “Bittersweet,” blending soulful country and nostalgia to explore themes of change, on April 25 across major streaming platforms.

Rising duo The 2 Sides, composed of multi-talented artists Christian Teetz and Caden Cook, released their highly anticipated debut single, “Bittersweet,” on April 25, 2025.

Fusing rich soulful textures with the raw storytelling of country, “Bittersweet” offers a sound that feels both familiar and refreshingly original—a reflection of the duo’s unique ability to bridge genres with emotional honesty and musical craftsmanship.

At its core, “Bittersweet” is an exploration of change: the way time slips by, how growing up reshapes relationships, and the complicated beauty of moving forward while holding on to the past. With heartfelt vocals, stripped-down instrumentation, and a melody that lingers, the track captures the moment where reflection meets rhythm.

“Bittersweet” is available on all major streaming platforms.

The 2 Sides are signed to Mon Hills Records, an imprint of Mon Hills Music Group. Mon Hills Music Group serves as a collection of independent record labels and acts as the professional component of the West Virginia University Music Industry Program, directed by Prof. Darko Velichokovski, at the university’s College of Creative Arts.
