Upshur County plans COVID-19 testing blitz over upcoming week

With Upshur County unable to shake a local outbreak of COVID-19 that is now stretching into a sixth week, the health department announced a weeklong testing blitz at locations across the county.

According to a press release from the Upshur-Buckhannon Health Department, free COVID-19 testing will be held in Hodgesville, Tennerton and Rock Cave every day, Monday through Saturday.

Sunday, Nov. 1
Noon to 4 p.m. – Buckhannon-Upshur High School

Monday, Nov. 2
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Hodgesville Elementary School
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Buckhannon-Upshur High School
2 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Banks District Volunteer Fire Department

Tuesday, Nov. 3
2 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Warren District Community Building
2 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Buckhannon-Upshur High School
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Banks District Volunteer Fire Department

Wednesday, Nov. 4
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Hodgesville Elementary School
2 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Buckhannon-Upshur High School
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Banks District Volunteer Fire Department

Thursday, Nov. 5
